Will you SHUT UP ABOUT **!*!@! CAR INSURANCE!!!

So my birthday weekend is off to a good start! Went to Tropical Wings hoping to get some close up photo's of butterflies. I did get a few but the humidity was a devil with steaming up the lenses. After the lenses had cleared I was hanging around the fruit feeders waiting fruitlessly for butterflies to open their wings and people kept taking photo's of me. "you've got a butterfly on your head" a little lad said. The butterfly sat for quite a while with it's wings open safely out of reach of my camera. Then , to add insult to injury IT LANDED ON MY RIGHT HAND!! I am right handed. I tried to contort and take a photo using my left hand but it was completely impossible.
This little zoo is nice. All the animals seem to have room and they are all breeding like mad which has to be a good sign. The Meercats for example, started with a breeding pair, there are now 18 of them. It was funny hearing all the small kids saying "look , there's Sergei" The power of advertising. There were lots of baby Wallabies too , in the pouches of their mums.
Now I am sat in my sister's living room full of greaat Chinese food , drinking wine - and it's not even my birthday yet :-)
