A long walk to the platform

Took a trip into Manchester today to visit the Videogame Nation exhibition at Urbis. Wasn't hugely impressed, but I didn't really give it much of a chance. Just whizzed around it then went upstairs to revisit the Andrew Brooks exhibition.

Headed off to Chinatown afterwards and discovered the Thai supermarket. It's only a tiny little place, but it's rammed to the rafters with all manner of wonderful things. I could probably spend an entire day just browsing the shelves in there. Managed to find some Penang curry paste, so tonight I'm going to try to recreate the dry curry that we always end up having at our local Thai restaurant.
