Goldfinch

It's taken four days of hiding in the outhouse, peering out of a dirty window to get this one shot. I think it was worth it :)

It's been quite interesting to observe the Goldfinches. They always arrive in pairs. One stands on lookout while the other feeds. I wonder if they partner for life?

I think I've managed to catalogue most of the birds in the garden now. There's still a Magpie who's forever being chased away by the Starlings and I've recently spotted a Bullfinch fluttering around the trees at the back. No idea how I'll entice him onto one of the feeders.
