It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

When I got back last night, the tree was up but that was about all. More hard work by Mrs C today, and we now have the living room decorated, along with a few festive bits and bobs scattered around the rest of the house. One thing that did become apparent during the day was that we had way too many Christmas decorations. Not only were there a lot left in the boxes to go back up to the loft, but we also had a large cardboard box full of assorted lights, tinsel and baubles that we definitely didn’t want to keep.
I advertised them for free on the local Sell and Seek site and they were snapped up straight away. The person who wants them lives on our estate, so I said we’d drop them off on our way out tonight. Nice to know someone can make use of them, rather than them ending up in landfill.
A comedy play at Staveley Roundhouse tonight, with a couple of our friends in the cast. It’s a very small venue but they always put on quality productions. Ticket price even includes a glass of wine, so plenty to look forward to!
