2022 Tuesday — In the Oven

Over a month ago I participated in a free online class from the School of Traditional Skills that focused on making bone broth and gravy. Then when we were at our SoCal home, I bought and prepared a chicken dinner and it was quite delicious.

When we were at Trader Joe’s recently, I purchased a 4 1/2 pound whole organic chicken. So I could prepare another wonderful meal. We will get two complete chicken dinner meals from this one bird and then lots and lots of soup, which will also be complete meals.

So even though this is not a beautiful sunset photo, it is a moment in our day that I’d like to remember.
