Walk to the shops

Yet another cold morning.  Bedroom temperature 13°C until heating from adjacent room kicked in when temperature rose to 14°C.   There's no radiator here as last winter was so mild it was quite comfortable.  I do have an electric heater but it's not worth turning it on as I'm about to get up and head to a warm bathroom.

Took Kyro for short walk on our street so he would settle when I went to the shops and to gauge how slippery the paths were.

Considered catching the bus to town which I'm not keen on and didn't need enough to warrant the fare.  So found my Yaktrax, put them on my warm boots and had a pleasant, safe walk to the local bread shop and greengrocer.  

Had Readeasy student in the afternoon and took Kyro for a brief walk afterwards.  

Now to find something to watch.
