Wide Wednesday

I haven't been out to look for some arches, so this is just a view from my window this morning. A little bit magical, I thought.

I have no water in my kitchen - pipes frozen, I presume - so I didn't dare use the washing machine. Instead I washed a load of underwear and a couple of larger items by hand in the bathroom wash hand basin, then spun them in the washing machine. (While I was away at Olaf's, I'd left the heated towel rail on in the bathroom, with the door shut, which I presume is why the taps there haven't frozen.)

These inconveniences make one appreciate the 'luxuries' we take for granted! Fingers crossed for no burst pipes when it thaws!
