Christmas barge lunch

Up early for my last invigilation session. It was really dark this morning, sightly warmer as no frost on the car. I drove from Crosby to Barton Grange  for the tinsel and turkey barge. The canal was iced up and the noise as the barge moved through it was really loud. Thankfully no titanic moments. At the health and safety talk we were told the canal was only 3 ft deep and not to panic if we fell in!. 
We had a great time, Ann and Margaret were really in the Christmas spirit, Sue and I just cold! A very different but great lunch.
