Garden visitor

Cold early walk but back to warm cottage as we left the heating on last night. Opened the bedroom window to see movement and the pheasant appeared on the wall.
Walked along the river path and had coffee at the cafe near the old lead smelting mill.
Watched white Christmas this afternoon, years since I last saw it.
Delivery confirmed for the replacement gift that I ordered yesterday, having to go to daughters. Plus delivery notification of parcel expected not expected until after 19th arriving tomorrow, so message to neighbour required.
