Love on the Rocks

Just because we have an unfortunate name darling, doesn't mean we can't be lovers.
This will be our song.
Phalacrocorax aristotelis or Shag, living up to their name on Inner Farne Island.
A great boat trip today and a chance to land on the island for an hour.
Got lots of seal and puffin shots too but this tender moment stole my heart (and AnnieBScotland has ticked a box on her bucket list by blipping a puffin, and she has the car!) have a look at my puffins or here for the exasperated seal!
Looking forward to dinner in the Fisherman's Inn in Craster tonight and to playing with the waves and my new ND filters tomorrow.
