Off work today ready for our trip to Cornwall. Maddy took us to Tesco in the morning to buy supplies for the weekend, then it was back to Bill’s to load up the cars (I was in the back with Beano).

The drive down was uneventful, just one brief stop in a farm shop somewhere in Devon.

Arrived in Lansallos just after Paul, Elly and Matt. Beano was super excited to be reunited with them all, and even more when Brown and Soph arrived as well.

The evening consisted of a massive takeaway from the only Indian who’d deliver to us, all sat around the huge dining table, with a fire lit and the dog asleep on the sofa. Absolute bliss.
