Being the New Girl...

Being the new girl has it's advantages when it comes to tips. Who new people tipped you for giving the information about religious relics!

Anyway, today was my first day and I was pretty nervous. Sebastien doesn't exactly help, he tells me things at about a million miles an hour and then expects me to remember them all. When he's not peering over my shoulder things go relatively well, or maybe I just don't realise I'm making mistakes then!

I really enjoy giving tours today, although there is still so much to learn. I should probably get revising because at the moment I'm pretty much lying to French people! They also seem to enjoy guessing what accent I have, interestingly their response is rarely English with such suggestions as Greek, Spanish, Romanian and Bulgarian.

After work, Ludovic invites me over but all I want to do is crawl into a warm bath and bed! Welcome to the French 8.30 - 7 life!

I thought I hadn't taken a picture today... but turns out I had. Unfortunately it was this. Perhaps it can be symbolic although after a predominantly good day I'm not sure how!
