Despite protests from Jamie that he didn't want to go to Ashby Castle, "or any castle, I just want to stay in and play on my DS", we went to Ashby Castle today. Connor loved looking at the display of armour ans was surprised that a full set would weigh over 5 stone, about the same as he probably weighs. They had time to try on some of the pieces where Jamie didn't enjoy himself he, "only smiled because you wanted a picture"
