Mapped

Out and about in York city centre - which was absolutely bloody heaving - for a wander, a trip to the art gallery and for lunch out.

Pic here shows a detail from 'Mapped Head 1' by John Davies, a piece that impressed me most for it's "characteristic surface scratching".

Us younger Edinburgh types then left the older Hull-based members of the family at the holiday home while we went to the rather nice City Screen cinema for 'Tori & Lokita'. It was excellent, as was the pint of pale ale in the bar afterwards.

Home in good time for the football of course, I won't dwell on that though.
