Jorvik

We caught the 13.30 to London Kings Cross from Waverley...and alighted at York where we rendezvoused with my folks off their train from Hull for our pre-Christmas get-together weekend. 

The holiday accommodation is nice and central, and it's only 3 minutes from the nearest Sainsburys Local for essentials. Priorities and that.

Some of the party went out to a carol concert in York Minister, some of the party stopped in and watched the football.
