The heaviest frost so far last night, -4°C in the garden at 10am. Like yesterday’s Berberis, the Abelia has been caught out by the change in the weather. Managed to wrestle the Christmas tree indoors this afternoon, with the aid of an ice pick! (See extra) Trying to feel Christmassy but this morning’s sad news has brought everything back...
