‘Second Spring’ turns to Winter!
Due to our unusually mild Autumn, the Berberis in the garden thought it was Spring and started flowering for the second time this year. This cold, frosty weather has caught it out!
As yesterday, a heavy overnight frost turned into a cold, sunny day with the temperature not rising above zero in the garden. The bird water bowls that I had melted in the morning had frozen over again by lunchtime. Busy day, more phone calls and paperwork, and a visit from the organiser of the local AgeUK ‘Memory Club’.
Thank you so much for all your kind comments, stars and hearts for sleepy Cyrilet.
