Deep and crisp and even.

Another cold day yesterday although because there was tiny bit of drizzle the frost thankfully did not hang around.  We winkled ourselves out of the house last night  to a very pleasant Christmas get together.  As l type this it is -3°C outside but will reach the dizzying heights of 3° for an hour at 1pm.
We are off down to Poole today to stay with friends and will stop to visit the Winchester Christmas market on the way home tomorrow.  We are told snow is on it's way along with Father Christmas..
