Surfers Silhouettes
No, not the silhouettes of people surfing the waves, this is Surfers Paradise the town, showing the silhouettes of the tall buildings against the skyline.
Yesterday I had lunch with my daughters in Coolangatta, which is the first town you come to at the southern end of the Gold Coast, after crossing the border from New South Wales into Queensland. Surfers Paradise is on the northern end of the Gold Coast, about forty minutes drive away, and with the curve of the coastline the buildings of Surfers (the place!) are usually visible in the distance.
My internet has been rather temperamental this week and I couldn't access it at all for most of yesterday, so will be adding a couple of back-blips throughout the day.
Happy weekend. :)))
