Webs

These webs contrast well against the rusty post.  As you can see it is foggy and cool too.  Normally you would see Skiddaw but not today.  The photo was taken in a lay-by between Portinscale and Keswick.  It was about -5.  It definitely a beautiful day and not bad for macro too.  I took the opportunity to photograph trees with frost and Derwentwater with fog.  The first extra is a Silver Birch with and the second shows 
Derwentwater looking towards  Blencathra, with a touch of snow.  Not much snow compared with countries north of the UK, but ice is evident.  Following a slow motorhome meant I didn't have enough revs to cross ice on a hill.  I made it at the second attempt.
