Flaming Pieris

The day started off bright and sunny but soon clouded over, then rained on and off until evening when it brightened up again! We did manage a few in and outdoor tasks, getting a bit wet in the process. At this time of year the pieris is flaming red, regardless of the weather! This shot has been played about with a little to accentuate the shape and texture of the leaves.
