St Agnes (second attempt)

We came to visit the brutalist beauty of St Agnes - erstwhile church, now a gallery - last time we were in Berlin, but there were long queues to get in and we didn't have time to wait. (The trip was not entirely wasted; it was when I first saw the ESP guitar, which I went on to buy.)

Despite the fact that time was slightly tight between our last meeting and the flight back to Manchester, we decided to go for it and returned to the gallery. This time there was no queue and we were able to walk straight in.

The art was interesting, and the gallery shop was full of temptations, but the best thing was the building itself, which is a splendid example of Brutalist architecture.

After that, we took the bus back into the city, the train across to the airport, and the plane back to Manchester. Safely home by half past nine :-)
