We actually spent pretty much all of the day working, but we were in here by just after six o'clock (local time). As I have absolutely no doubt mentioned before, this was a haunt of David Bowie and Iggy Pop, when they INEXPLICABLY chose one another and Berlin as the ideal arrangement for curtailing their drug use.

But that was the start of an intense creative period that, over three years, gave us Bowie's 'Low', 'Heroes', and 'Lodger', as well as Pop's 'The Idiot' and 'Lust For Life' (both produced and, largely, written by Bowie). Actually, 'The Idiot' is one of the most underrated albums of all time. If you're feeling open-minded, give it a listen.

And, after a couple of drinks, we went back to the restaurant we discovered on Monday, and enjoyed some more amazing food as well as watching the football, which isn't usually my bag, but Germany were playing, and I was seduced by the gentle, supportive vibe.
