Spent the day at mine doing things which have been on my mind, clearing away lots of clippings and other rubbish which have been gathering, moving, cutting and splitting various lengths of firewood and collecting some more from across the road where storm Eunice deposited it. 

During all this the landlord was repairing the hob in the kitchen, two of the regulators were no longer regulating.

Also started the cooking and draining of some red pepper jelly.
