Dirk's mural

Shetland artist, Dirk Robertson, recently painted this dragon on the SIBC local radio station building. I had read about it and how the October weather added to the challenge of getting it completed, so it was fine to see it on my walj round the town this morning.

The day has arrived for J to come home. Hooray! But there was lots of waiting around until she finally got the ok.

Out of the bright, warm hospital into the dark and cold of a November afternoon. Still, I had a blanket and hotwater bottle waiting in the van, and of course, she was pleased to be heading home at last.
