2022 Sunday — Savoring Sunday

After a wonderful day here at home of doing nothing more than just just singing, sighing, and sipping, we watched with great awe as the clouds filled with the sun’s warmth, the sky melted in colors, and the audience (that would be me, Rosie, and him, Mr. Fun) gave a silent lengthy ovation.

The morning started in worship with the congregated believers at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills (streaming online). The music was soul stirring as it always is. The message came directly from the two-edged sword that instructs in righteousness. If that wasn’t enough, then we joined Parkside Church in Cleveland for more worship (again streaming online).

The afternoon was filled with lovely laziness in a home warmed against the outside cold. Our little Cayucos town was focused on a 5:00 p.m. lighting of the Christmas tree and beginning of the holiday season. The pier lampposts are decorated to resemble candy canes, and every motel twinkles with December lights. I love it here.

And that was the twelfth month’s first Sunday.
