Civic Square

The Civic Square in neighbouring Prestonpans has just been reopened following a refurbishment, and I must say they have done a marvellous job. 

As well as now being a fitting location for the refurbished war memorial, there are also fine ‘openings’ to see the Forth, as you can see here and in the extra photo.
