It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (2)

A very long day doing all those things you have to do before an extended period away from home - clearing up and out, laundry, and of course, packing. And fretting about the cats.  I know they'll all be fine and fed  but I worry, especially about Harry.  I maintained a positive vibe by having constant feel good movies playing, including Die Hard, which certainly sets the mood for upcoming festivities as one of the mandatory seasonal films ...

And then, all preparations finally complete, Graham came around 18.00 to check all was well before we went back to his where a scrum Christmassy dinner waited - he and Kat had gone all out - beautifully decorated tree,  a log fire burning c/o YouTube and set a table on their candlelit balcony for our meal - a smorgasbord of Christmassy fare.  What a lovely way to spend my last evening.
