four go climbing

The four young people spent this morning at the Boulder Climbing Centre in Annan while D and I spent a quiet morning at home looking after the dogs :-)

The four of them are now in the kitchen, preparing Christmas dinner. We are having Meera Sodha's Grand Vegetable Biryani Pie, from her recipe book "Fresh India", which I have been wanting to try for ages. Then THIS amazing parkin! I keep going in to ask if I can help - usually there are some dishes to wash...

The Christmas tree is going up tonight, too.
