Jack Frost nipping at your toes

Twas a cold one to be plugging around the allotment but there were weeds to be picked and green manure to be planted

There was only one other person there and then he left and one more arrived and then another and then both them left

Cold weather is not popular among the membership

Leeks aren’t getting any bigger and I gazed round at everyone’s else’s and got jealous

Brussels don’t seem to be much bigger either


Carrots on the other hand are plenteous and huge. I hope my parsnips are growing as well as they are
