Orange Tulip

I had taken some images earlier today and thought I had settled on what I was going to blip. However, a short time ago I thought that I had better go and water the plants in the greenhouse. And when I went out to the garden I saw this little tulip looking splendid in the rain. It's a beautiful tulip and quite small as they go. It's planted in a half barrel (wooden tub) and surrounded by a small leafed ivy which is a nice backdrop for it. I've watched the tulip for days now and yesterday its outer petals opened but the rest remained tightly closed. Today though, although it's still quite the same I thought the rain really enhanced it. Hooray for the rain!
