Advent Windows and Lantern Procession

What a day it has been! We had the church open 10am - 4.30pm for people to view our Advent Windows. We also had the hall open for a coffee morning and sale 10am - 1.30pm. That was all alongside the village outdoor Christmas market. The village has been heaving and so has the church and hall, we've had hundreds through the door. 

At the end of the day we organised a Lantern procession, which was led by Santa on his sleigh - see extra. There was a lovely atmosphere as we walked through the centre of the village and finished around our Christmas tree. We then gave a free showing of the film "The Star" for families in the church hall. 

A very positive day all round.
