Peace on Earth

No day off. A bit of juggling and multi-tasking today. Some personal work first thing, then various bits and pieces plus a wedding booking, all alongside trying to do the final preparations for our Advent Window event. Now we have the windows and can see what they are, I spent quite a bit of the day creating the story boards to go with them while others finished off setting up in church and the hall. 

This evening we opened the doors for a Christmas concert by St Helen's Singers, which also included some instrumentalists and a few readings. They even made it snow during "White Christmas" - see extra.  Mulled wine and mince pies were served during the interval. It was also the first time people had officially seen the Advent Windows.
