Lush……

There was sunshine after dawn early this morning. This view of lush green growth is at the confluence of Doctors Creek and the Taylor River. Recent rain showers have benefited the green spaces around town. The grass is growing at a rapid rate, both in the parks and here at home. More frequent mowing is required.
Son Duncan, who arrived from Dunedin last night, can’t stop picking up and cuddling his cat, Bryan the Birman. He is being most helpful with clearing out old papers and magazines etc.
The weather turned cloudy late morning . It was so chilly that I put the heat pump on and Duncan lit the fire. Amazing. It’s meant to be summer now.
