A Rainy Morning….

We had a small amount of rain overnight. Early this morning Maisie and I walked downstream to Riverside Park beside Raupo Cafe. The yellow wild flowers growing on the edge of the boardwalk are “Monkey Musk”. The construction site on the right will be our new library. It it due for completion in 2023. Friend Sue picked me up from home at lunchtime. We joined other friends from the Pastel Painting group for an end of year lunch. Daughter Margaret took Keith out for lunch. This evening I attended a surprise birthday party for friend Thelma. A large crowd of her friends and family had gathered to surprise her and wish her well. A fun night out..
