Yn crwydro'r siopau ~ Wandering the shops

“...it is often extremely difficult to make adequate provisions for pedestrians. Yet this must be done, because pedestrians are the lifeblood of our urban areas, especially in the downtown and other retail areas. In general, the most successful shopping sections are those that provide the most comfort and pleasure for pedestrians.”
― American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), 1990

Aethon ni i'r dre heddiw lle aethon ni ein ffyrdd ar wahân am sbel oherwydd roedden ni'n prynu anrhegion nadolig i'n gilydd. Gwnaethon ni gwrdd yn Wagamama's an pryd-o-fwyd cyn dal y bws adre. Rydw i'n hoffi'r henach ardaloedd o'r dre - yn enwedig yr arcedau ac yr hen farchnad. Ar amser hon o'r flwyddyn rydyn ni'n cael llawer o stondau crefft hefyd sy'n edrych yn dda gyda'u goleudadau a llawer o bethau diddorol i'w prynu.

We went to town today where we went our separate ways for a while because we were buying each other christmas presents. We met at Wagamama's for a meal before catching the bus home. I like the older areas of the town - especially the arcades and the old market. At this time of year we also get lots of craft stalls which look good with their lights and lots of interesting things to buy.
