Otherwise another grey day but the good news is the Ghana visa application has gone by special delivery. I hope all is in order as we are short of time what with Xmas and postal strikes. First world problem but stressful.

Carol called this morning and we had a good catch up but she’s “not in a good place” and doesn’t know why.

I delivered stuff to Val then Shona called at 3 to pick up the DVDs she chose from our throw out to the charity shop pile and didn’t leave till 5.45 when Mr C arrived back from Morpeth - we have no post office nearer than 15 miles that had the special delivery envelopes - where he’d had to go to post the Ghana stuff. We agreed we must get back to our pre-Covid mahjong nights.

At 6 I had a FaceTime date with Jo just back from Japan. We had such a laugh. She might fly up from Newquay in February.

Now I must get the gin and crisps out. Mr C needs to have a bit of pampering.
