Context

...to Wednesday's blip. 

The weather has been horrible all day; foggy and rainy (with occasional snowflakes mixed in), and a chilly 2°C. I was very tempted to stay in my warm office all day, but started feeling restless at lunchtime and decided to walk to the farm shop again - for vegetables and some of their handmade, organic Maultauschen, which are a kind of German cousin to Ravioli. 

The smaller paths were very muddy from all the rain, so I walked along some gravelled country roads, and passed the giant wood stack again. So here it is in full length, to give you some idea of its dimensions.
