Wet rose

I was surprised to find another beautiful rose today. This was in the place where we have our cuppa after the Health Walk, I'd noticed the bud last week but didn't suspect such a lovely bloom after some frost.
The walk was a bit damp, but otherwise pleasant and then cafe after was very quiet as a lot of the regulars were away for a Christmas lunch with their bingo friends.
We had Mr Rat's birthday tea today, Longhorn steak from a farm near Forres, delicious. He's now giving me a commentary on the Spain/Japan match, sounds exciting.
