Free winter berries.

These bushes are probably bird seeded. We’ve never had a ‘snowberry’ bush and although we have lots of unwanted self seeded hollies this one is in the very corner of the front garden, almost at the side of the house, so we’ve allowed it to grow. Good to see it’s full of berries.
I like the combination of the two colours of berry so thought it worthy of a blip.

No frost this morning but still a damp and murky day. No matter I went to pick my friend up to take her for a coffee and lunch. She has recently had a hip replacement so can’t drive yet. She seemed very pleased to be going out.
The special today was Christmas dinner so we thought why not. Far too much but certainly good value.
After we had a cuppa and a mince pie.

Dropped her back home. She is moving house this weekend so I hope that all goes well, her daughter is coming over from Canada to help her with the move.

Will be soon setting out in the dark for a drink with friends at the pub. Last day of November, not a favourite month but it’s a toss up between November and January for which I like least!
