When all your dreams come true

I'd seen the Brocken Spectre King had been out yesterday, poised daringly on the Crocodile's Nose.  

I saw the forecast for this morning. And went to bed early.  And hoped.  

This isn't such an audacious pose from the top of the Cow and Calf although it's close enough to the edge for me to have a heart lurch of vertigo.
And one MASSIVE smile.  

I stood up there for ages, with the warmth of the sun on my back, just watching and grinning before tearing myself away for a busy day.

(I also loved the little tree growing - I don’t think it’s someone’s idea of a Christmas decoration!)
