Sunrise on November 29th

They said it would be colder today and it was, but not first thing. It got much colder at sunrise when the skies cleared. There was no frost on the grass or roofs when Sue picked me up for our Tuesday dip and although the air was cooler than of late, the water was a toasty 9.7°. After we had had a splash about in a lovely high tide for 10minutes we headed home, seeing all the house roofs white with frost  and finding a picturesque mist swaddling the Meadows.

It was a blue sky and calm day which left me feeling good until I got an audio message on my iPad at lunch time together with an on screen one saying that one of the sites I had been accessing had infected my iPad with a virus which required me to get on a free phone to Apple support to talk me through getting rid of it. I was warned not to shut down my computer or my data would be lost or might be accessed. After falling for the ‘Dear Mum ‘ scam when I was in Orkney, I am suspicious of my shadow, so hot footed it down to the Apple Shop to be told it was indeed a scam. The helpful assistant deleted the message for me and all was well. Trust is giving way to suspicion in everything.
