Granton harbour from the breakwater

Granton harbour and the two breakwaters have history. Image taken on the East breakwater in mid afternoon low light. Extras of the bridges, and Fife, taken from the end of the breakwater. 

Early afternoon walk down to Wardie Bay then out along the stones. The structure has fairly flat dressed stone on both sides, with the centre being much rougher. 970m or so to the end. Back in and up the Wardie Steps, waited for a no 8 bus for the trip back. Lovely sunshine and flat calm weather, to be appreciated while we have it.
