SAM

After a morning walk through woods by the side of Lake Washington we went to the SAM (Seattle Art Museum) to see a photographic exhibition by Dawoud Bey and Carrie  Mae Weems. It was a very powerful representation of African-American history and identity conceived in a series of projects on different themes. Interesting, provocative and moving and a strong statement of the power of photography as an art form.
