Rainy ...

... Sunday.

It rained ... often hard at times ... most of the day.  

Which made for outdoor photography challenging at best!  But since I consider myself an outdoor/wildlife photographer I persevered!  I think I sat in the sunroom for at least an hour shooting (through the open door) whatever came into my line sight.  

I was quite pleased when this lovely male Northern Cardinal sat on the deck railing as I rarely get to photograph these birds.  They can be quite flighty when they see humans!  But since I had the bird blind curtain pulled over the open doorway I don't think he knew I was there.  Please have a look in gallery view. 

Because of the rain we weren't able to get out of a walk today ... but this allowed me to get some much needed and put off paperwork done!  American football was on the TV and kept me entertained.  Although I was disappointed that the Seahawks lost in overtime.  

I made pizza and corn fritters for supper, which was accompanied with a garden salad.  Yum!
