Merrill Creek ...

... solitude.

For some place different today we went to New Jersey!  And to Merrill Creek Reservoir.  R had read that the birding there was good.

But we were disappointed as we hardly saw any birds whatsoever.  However, we did get in a nice walk ... so it wasn't a total bust.

And when we went down the boat launch to check it out for possibly kayaking next year we saw several boaters ... and fishermen.  I really liked the solitude of this shot.   Please have a look in gallery view.
