Been there, done that.

But why is it that the different participants of a franchise can’t quite get their standards right? The food was just about okay, the service poor, and the new venue looked better from a distance.

Otherwise it was a day for pottering about. Shiv’s food prepared, boxed, and frozen before a longer than normal outing with her, exploring some of the upmarket suburbs.

A late lunch done, we sat in the garden enjoying the peace and quiet as it seemed all our neighbours were out and about. Then again, they might have also been just enjoying the silence of a Sunday afternoon.
