A visit...

...from a friend and her daughter all the way from Briancon on the French - Italian border. We are doing a house swap. They get to spend 4 glorious days next to the Loire river in our cottage in Treves and in return we spend 4 nights later on in the year in the snow of Hautes-Alpes. B was thrilled to see the pups again and was sad to go saying she would miss them. We spent the morning searching for fossils in the vineyard and lunched on the potager in the sun. We have guests from Australia, France and the USA at the moment so it's been a hectic day.
