The Future

The future? Not really.One of the salesmen we deal with has just had a new Polaris car.Beautifully made and very modern.He has been running it for a few months with a range of 180 -200 miles when not using the heater,  lights, and windscreen wipers so it is ok for local use.When he has to go further afield he borrows one of the other  salesmen cars.

We have been looking at trading in our diesel car for a hybrid and I wouldn't mind the extra cost if it was a cleaner alternative.However a petrol hybrid produces more harmful fumes than a modern diesel and electric that looks to be turning towards nuclear is certainly not clean.Perhaps after all it would be more environmentally friendly to keep what I have and run it for longer.

A few jobs around the nursery this morning and a couple of hours out on the Honda motorcycle this afternoon.A motorcycle is a true environmentally friendly way to travel.
