A treat to myself

This box of beauty came into the recycle shop, completely unused. I couldn't resist, despite only ever having dabbled in any form of art. I'm hoping this will inspire me to experiment and the grandchildren will be able to use some of the elements when they come to stay next time.
Any suggestions on the best way to start will be accepted and much appreciated!
